Step 1: It All Starts With a Consult
Your journey begins with a 30-minute consultation with one of our board-certified family nurse practitioners. During this time, we:
- Review your medical history and previous weight loss attempts.
- Explore what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past.
- Understand your personal goals and preferences.
- Create a comprehensive and individualized weight loss plan tailored specifically to you and your goals
This consult is your starting point. To get started on your program and receive prescriptive medications, you must complete a medical weight loss start appointment. If you are ready to get started right away and have all of your recent labs, this appointment can occur on the same day as your consultation if time allows.
Step 2: Medical Weight Loss Start Appointment
When you’re ready to begin your treatment plan and receive prescriptions, you’ll need to complete a medical weight loss start appointment. This appointment includes:
- A complete physical exam
- EKG and lab reviews
- A full conversation with a Nurse Practitioner to help you understand your program and give tips on working towards your goals.
