As a labor and delivery nurse for the past 6+ years, it’s such an honor to guide women through decision-making at such a pivotal point in their health and life experience. I’ve felt privileged to support them as they move through important moments. In 2019, I was a travel nurse, which meant I was doing this same role, but in a more nomadic context—this helped me grow not only as a nurse, but a person as well. I learned so much about myself and the world, and met so many awesome people along the way. I can’t wait to bring those experiences to the VIVA Wellness services I’m offering.

My personal mission is to live a healthy, happy and meaningful life. I hope to make an impact on people’s lives, whether big or small, and help them reach their short-term and long-term health goals.

As if the health and physical benefits aren’t enough to make everyone want to RUN to get a lymphatic drainage treatment, the aesthetic benefits are pretty incredible, too. After I personally experienced one session, I noticed immediately that my jeans fit much more comfortably—it truly is amazing how much fluid it moves and how quickly it does! I also noticed that after the session I was noticeably less stressed and had an overall sunnier mood. I’m so excited to be able to offer these same benefits to others.

My recommendation for everyone: HYDRATE!

Keeping your body hydrated is so simple and yet so underrated. Your body is composed of so much water, and in order to keep all the processes going, it’s essential to continue to replenish that hydration—whether it’s simply water or other nourishing beverages or high water-content whole foods.

And keep your body moving, too.

I like to keep my body moving, especially while enjoying the outdoors. I’ve been snowboarding since I was 9 and I absolutely love it. I’m also into hiking, working out, and any other way to take in fresh air! Pro tip: the more you move your body, sweating or not, the more you need to hydrate! Another way I like to keep on the move is by traveling, and I’m always planning my next trip—my next one is Thailand. I’ve visited 12 countries, with my favorite being New Zealand, but I’m always ready to see what else the world has to show me!

When I’m not out exploring and adventuring, I’m at home spending time with my two Bengal cats named Remi & Tito! They’re super energetic, chatty and totally spoiled. They love chasing each other at 2 a.m. and running on their cat wheel (yes it’s a real thing). I guess energy “runs in the family!”

I struggle with food allergies and weight management.

I have struggled with food allergies and weight management since I was 18. It has taken a lot of trial and error, but I’m healthier now than I ever have been. I know how hard it can be to stay well, and I want to help people reach their health and wellness goals safely, while keeping individual lifestyles in mind. I’m a really good listener, and my strength is holding space for my clients to feel comfortable.

Jordan received her BSN from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2016 as a Registered Nurse she also holds BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association. She recently completed a year-long travel rotation where she work in various trauma level hospitals in Washington, Connecticut, Colorado, and Wisconsin.
