VIVA Wellness is looking to hire 1 or 2 enthusiastic team members who feel called to step into a new chapter of their career as an I-ACT Certified Colon Hydrotherapist. With this opportunity you will be a part of pioneering integrative care, you will have the ability to make a consistent impact in the lives of our clients and incrementally creating a BIG difference in the world.
VIVA is rapidly growing, we have so many exciting plans in the works behind the scenes—the right person is excited to join this expansion, already loves or wants to go all into gut health, and is ready to step into a role that empowers them to use their knowledge, passion, and personal experience to encourage and facilitate digestive wellness, and helps clients feel their best.
The right person does not need to currently have their certification or any experience in colon hydrotherapy, but is personable, easily builds rapport, enthusiastic, intelligent, kind, autonomous, and can hold massive space during a vulnerable procedure. It is preferred if you have already experienced five or more colonics, and can speak to how they have positively impacted your life.
VIVA does an incredible job of bridging western and alternative medical theories and practices, the colon hydrotherapist we bring on must likewise respect both worlds, seeing digestive health as a key component to integrative care. You’ll be a part of VIVA’s Colon Hydrotherapy Department which is often many weeks (or months) booked out. Our primary Hydrotherapist has done well over 2000 colonics, is I-ACT certified, and would serve as your incredible mentor and teammate. By the time you’d start, she’ll have received her advanced certification with I-ACT to elevate VIVA’s already next-level, revered, effective colonic experience. You’d be on the leading edge of colonics and integrative care, as VIVA has lofty ambitions for regulation and reputation building at the state (and eventually federal) level.

The ideal candidate:
- Gut health & wellness interest

- Love a boutique medical vibe, and desire to be a part of an integrative wellness team of providers
- Emotionally intelligent. You are able to hold a massive amount of respect for those struggling with digestive and health issues. VIVA is a judgment-free zone.
- Is willing, and truly desires, to go deep with people in order to understand them. Desires to build genuine rapport that facilitates productive healing. Comfortable conversing 1:1 for 60+ mins at a time with clients
- Respectful of health & safety protocols, diligent, and strong attention to detail
- Driven and strong worth ethic
IDEAL BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Background and understanding of digestion, colon hydrotherapy, nutrition, energetics of health. If you have had digestion or gut health struggles that have led to your own healing journey, that’s a major plus!
- CNA or some medical background
- Well-versed in or curious about holistic medicine.
- Comfortable on camera (social media, podcast)
- Strong trust of instincts
Before seeing clients, you’ll need to complete a mandatory 10 day training and certification June 15-23 in Southern Florida. Complete 265 hours of online learning thru I-ACT (included in the tuition/certification process). Once accomplished, we’d begin with in-clinic training with our current Colon Hydrotherapist, Laura!
This training requires a significant amount of time, financial, and energetic investment. VIVA will be contributing towards that, but not the full amount. Travel + partial training would be covered. After three years, there’s an opportunity for reimbursement of those expenses.
We’ll discuss specifics of the training in further detail during the interview, but we want to ensure that is clear up front because you are deciding on colon hydrotherapy as the next step in your career, not trying it on or considering it, you are ready to go all in.
Compensation: More details on the structure available in the interview process, but this is an opportunity to, based on booking volume, earn $60,000-85,000 annually.

Front Desk Associate
The ideal candidate is passionate about health, eager to learn about our products and services, as well as interested in supporting a superb client experience at any stage — from first inquiry to raving loyal client! Must be a go-getter, greet clients with a bubbly smile, remain pleasant on the phone and in all discussions with clients. Takes direction well and with a positive attitude as they grow in the role.
This is a great opportunity for any nursing or healthcare student to learn the environment of a boutique medical practice.
Responsibilities:
- Grow and maintain client relationships by greeting clients at arrival, assisting with client questions or requests, explaining services to current and potential clients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
- Manage client communications seamlessly from many different sources: text, phone, email, website leads, and in-person
- Contributes to team effort by assisting teammates with any requests and accomplishing shared goals
- Receive payment for services provided or products purchased. All business is cash-based, no insurance experience necessary.
- Assist in maintaining office: tidying areas, assisting with laundry, organizing product, and miscellaneous tasks
- Printing, scanning, and faxing as needed and requested by teammates
- Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying providers of patients’ arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and reminding providers of service delays.
- Ability to manage and optimize a schedule by balancing client preferences, providers’ schedules, and treatment room availability.
- Support in maintaining business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies and sharing them with the ordering manager, verifying receipt of supplies, and scheduling equipment service and repairs if needed.
- Comforts clients by anticipating clients’ anxieties, answering clients’ questions, and maintaining the reception area.
- Protects clients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
Hours & Benefits:
Part-Time: rotating 1-2 days during the week Tues – Fri from 9 am – 6:30 pm.
Compensation: $15-$17/hr based on experience.
Begins with a 90-day probationary period, thereafter staff members receive generous discounts on all services, products, and offerings.

- Education or interest in health, wellness, medicine definitely would be helpful but is not required.
